Recall training is incredibly important for all dogs. Short or long lead walking is not as fun as being able to dash off, sniff, roll around and have some proper energetic free time.
(And let’s face it – we all have had dogs who want to wander off to rummage around in holes, stalk a ball or roll around in a smelly pile of poo).
So why do some owners never take the time to train their dogs and comfortably engage in off lead walks? Fear of loss? Lack of time? Uncertainty?
Whatever the reasons, the two recall training links below provide some handy hints and tips to ensure your furry friends learn to scamper back safely, giving you the confidence to remove the lead and watch them run and play.
